Belgium 2 Euro 2012 "75 years Queen Elisabeth Competition " UNC

Founded in 1937, and named after Queen Elisabeth of Belgium, the wife of King Albert I, the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition is considered to be one of the most prestigious and most difficult music competitions in the world.

Held in Brussels, the competition is devoted to violin (since 1937), piano (since 1938), to composition (since 1953) and to singing (since 1988).
